It’s a cute place. Lots of interesting items, friendly staff. Just don’t plan on walking your dog or parking your motorcycle without putting wood under your kick stand for walking into the store with dirty shoes. Lots of signs.

Had a great time even ate lunch at grandma's kitchen, very good meal. Just made a day of it. People in Maggie Valley and Cherokee were very nice.

I have purchased local handmade Cherokee crafts from BearMeats Indian Den and the owner David for the last 25 years. The store is amazing with incredible Cherokee crafts anything you may want David carries. Bead work, white oak and river cane baskets, hand made pottery, necklaces, earrings, native medicine, sage ,smudge pots, cane blowguns and darts all produced by local artist. Did I mention the best boiled peanuts you have ever had. When you shop at BearMeats Indian Den you not only support a local Cherokee owned shop but local artist as well. Visit David you arrive as a customer and leave as a friend…Thanks David for sharing your amazing shop and local made crafts. The best place in Cherokee. No Chinese imitation crap here!!!
