tripadvisorGreat place to step back in history. Amazing staff and very informative. Great for all ages. Murray Mill is my favorite.
MoreGreat experience, enjoyed the various displays, brought a lot of memories. Definitely worth a visit!
MoreThis is a great museum that is often overlooked. There is a lot of history of Catawba County, as well as western North Carolina. The recent Smithsonian exhibit on how people work was a great exhibit. I love the upstairs courtroom, it just gives you a great feel for the 1920s.
MoreLived in Newton as a child and was excited to see the progress through the years into the thriving small town it is today. Interesting displays and good location.
MoreExcellent small museum focusing on the history of Catawba County and it’s people. Located in the historic local courthouse in the town square. Beautiful old building that was and is the county seat of government. Good exhibits on multiple floors.
