This art gallery is located in a city with a population just over 93,000. We parked at the Rankin Avenue Garage, which is a three-minute walk away and serves as the closest parking structure. Parking is FREE if you leave within the first hour; otherwise, the first hour costs $2, and each additional hour is also $2. For example, staying for two hours and five minutes costs $6, whereas staying for 59 minutes is free. Conversely, on-street parking meters near Woolworth Walk cost $2.50 per hour from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and carry a strict two-hour maximum limit. The gallery features two floors of display space filled with local art and crafts. The main floor contains the entrance, artists' booths, and a restored soda fountain. The lower level contains additional artist stalls and exhibits. Additionally, both the Flat Iron and Cat Walk sculptures are nearby on Wall Street, located about a one-minute and four-minute walk away, respectively.

Can’t recommend downtown Ashville. Panhandlers and drug addicts on every block. I was worried for my children. Locations out of the city are great!

Stopped in while in town. Great place to see and buy local artists's creations. It is in an old Woolworths building and still has the food counter, where you can still order food or drinks as well as ice cream.

Every time we come to Asheville, we feel like kids in a candy store at Woolworth Walk! This visit, it was mere steps from our downtown hotel (the Restoration, which we loved) and we visited several times before finalizing a few purchases, both for ourselves and as gifts. We ate at the lunch counter, which was fun throwback.

What a fantastic space! The counter is still functional for food and drinks, and the whole store has been turned into retail for local artists, each with their own booth. Artsy and nostalgic - you can’t go wrong with a stop here. You could spend 10 minutes or an hour.
