tripadvisorThis ballpark opened in 2015, on the site of the old Wildcat Hollow football stadium. They've done a nice job of bringing a modern-day baseball park experience to a smaller venue. The Lexington County Blowfish games often feature schools, civic organizations, corporate events, birthday parties and theme nights so that it's more than just a baseball game. Summer weekend games also include fantastic fireworks! Food and drink offerings are good, including alcohol sales. We've had a great time each time we've been!
MoreWe went July 3 because it was veterans appreciation night and they were having fireworks. Great seats $9.00 each in section 104. This is a beautiful park. They do an awesome job of engaging everyone in the activities, especially the children.
MoreA good time was has by all. Fun fan events between innings. Very clean with good seating. Have food vendors if you get hungry.
MoreThis facility was updated 2 years ago and is now the home for the Blowfish baseball team. They play in a league which is just below the minorleague A teams, with representative southern teams. The facilty is spacious with the usual food and drinks available.Ideal setting for families. The games start around 8PM and provide sports entertainment for all ages. Food is acceptable for organized semi-pro baseball stadiums in a safe place. Games usually run for 2 hours and tickets are not expensive.
MoreThe Stadium was built as a venue with the idea of being able to host College Teams from the north where they could practice when it is still snowing at their home fields. It is home to the Lexington County Blowfish of the Southern Plains League during the summer, (A wooden bat league for college players), Host of the Big South Tournament, and has hosted many other smaller leagues opening ceremonies. Plenty of covered seating is available, is handicap accessible, great concessions, and even a media arae.
