The food is amazing and the menu has something for everyone. I strongly recommend the psycho burger.

Well, this is the coolest bar in Columbia. Our first visit here to this truly eclectic establishment. We sat at the bar after touring the unique rooms with these interesting robots everywhere. The bartender filled us in on the history of the Art Bar as he served our drinks. We also ordered egg rolls and mozzarella sticks with our drinks. Prices were great because it was happy hour. This is a gem In Columbia and we will definitely return.

I went on Sept 23rd 2023 and I was stalked by two black males and NO.... this review isn't a racial thing! One of the two approached me early in the evening trying to make small talk. I politely told him I wasn't interested then he met up with the second guy (they talked) and for the rest of the night they seemed to follow me through out the bar literally ALL NIGHT up until I was waiting for Uber. This bothered me so badly that I mentioned this to one of the employees and told him that I didn't feel comfortable outside with them there too and they stood by with me outside until I got into my ride. Difficult to enjoy yourself when you KNOW you're being followed / stalked. They do serve food (altho I didn't eat there so I can't vouch for quality) They also have 3-4 bands on Fri and Sat nights playing heavy Grunge type music and they have an $8 cover charge on those nights. The Art Bar is a Columbia Bar landmark...... (along with Group Theapy in Five Points) The Art Bar IS VERY QUIRKY yet accepting of all and is a GREAT place for people watching. This was not my first visit but after this experience, I will say that if you go (especially solo) to keep your wits about you and be careful, especially when you go outside to leave.

They were so damn slow. How long does it take to make a darn martini??? It shouldn’t take longer than 2 minutes. Good lord

This is not you average bar in Columbia. Everyone is welcome here and you will find all sorts. It is quirky and has music some nights, improv sometimes etc. There are robots decorating all over the place. Unlike some of the nearby places, it isn’t a young meat market and all folks young and old feel comfortable here.
