There are miles of hiking trails and great views of the river! You can fish or boat from there as well as picnic and view nature. We saw fish and turtles and butterflies. Beautiful trees, and playgrounds.

I've stopped here a number of times to throw a few discs at the 9 hole course here. It's quite short, and a little compact since there are other activity areas that are bordering the course and can cause some interference, but overall it's a nice little course. Marked well and easy to find.

I can't speak for any of the facilities at the park (baseball fields/playgrounds, etc), but I can speak for the walking trail surrounding the park. I went to this place after finding it on Trip Advisor while I was looking for places nearby to run. I was pleased that the trail was paved and well maintained. Someone in the previous reviews said it was a mile+...it's close, but it's short of that distance. There is one part of the trail that is shaded, but I'd say about 3/4 of it is in the sun with no relief. I'd go back, but it would have to be a day that the sun wasn't on high.

Seven Oaks is primarily a youth sports complex with 6 baseball fields and a football field. It also has a full size gym, and activities for Seniors.

This is a great place to picnic in season, playground for the young-covered shelter from the sun. The walk around the ballparks is mileage marked and plenty of space to run & play. The gym and workout room has a minimal charge but when its hot, it worth the air conditioning. There are numerous things going on all the time in the park building from bridge to senior citizens lunches. It's convenient, just off the beaten path with lots of parking. During the ball seasons lots of games are being played almost every night. You can even have a birthday party there for the kids.
