Reviews
tripadvisorI have always been a big fan of Hilton hotels. I travel frequently for work and have rarely encountered issues during my stays. As a Diamond Reserve member, I have come to appreciate the level of hospitality, communication, and guest service that Hilton consistently provides.I completely understand that hotels require renovations and that things don't always go as planned. This particular property was undergoing construction, with posted hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., which I had no issue with. However, one evening, there was significant noise outside my room that continued well past 11 p.m., making it difficult to sleep. When I brought this to the hotel's attention, the staff apologized and explained that there had been a late delivery. My disappointment wasn't necessarily with the delivery itself, but rather how the situation was handled. Given the established construction hours, I would have expected the hotel to proactively communicate the disruption to guests, make alternative arrangements for the delivery, or at least offer accommodations to those affected. Unfortunately, none of those steps were taken, and I wasn't even offered the option of moving to a quieter room on the opposite side of the property. The hotel itself is clearly in need of updates, so I can certainly appreciate the renovations taking place. However, renovations shouldn't come at the expense of guest communication and consideration.I don't typically submit complaints, especially given how many positive experiences I've had with Hilton over the years. My feedback is specific to the management and communication at this location, rather than a reflection of the Hilton brand as a whole. As a loyal guest who has spent a considerable amount of time at Hilton properties, I simply expected a more proactive and thoughtful approach to hospitality.I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I genuinely value the Hilton brand and want to continue having the positive experiences I've come to expect.
MoreI always book Hampton inn. This one definitely needed some up grades. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our jacuzzi tub didn’t work, very disappointing. It was extremely hot and we were told we couldn’t use the pool because it was over chlorinated, it did get fixed, but we had to find other ways to cool down. We managed, but it was still very inconvenient.
MoreI made this reservation without checking reviews. I trusted Hampton Inn. I can’t believe this is a Hampton Inn. The rooms are moldy smelling and to top it off I was almost asleep when a Rich crawled on me. The front desk responded quickly and moved me but I would never stay here again. It reminds me of a Days Inn. DONT STAY HERE
MoreThe website stated that the hotel was undergoing renovations, but we saw none in progress. We quickly realized though, how much renovations are needed. When we walked into our room, we were hit with the smell of “old and stale.” Not necessarily dirty, but the room smelled like it had been closed off since 1995, and the room furnishings also looked like they had been in the room since 1995 as well. The TV was updated to a standard flat-screen, and they had added some charging stations that were sitting up on the wooden desk/tables in the room, but the desk/tables were dated and stained, curtains were stained, and the room generally needed to be overhauled. Mattress felt old and springy, and bathroom was a bit tight. My traveling companion (my 17-year old) said she didn’t sleep well because the room felt so old and “creepy.” Nonetheless, the sheets/bedding/towels were clean, and that is paramount for me. Breakfast was pre-made western omelets, bacon, and potatoes; there was also oatmeal, fruit, pastries, cereal, and a waffle maker. My daughter raved about the strawberry waffles and fruit syrup, so that was a plus! We were there for just one night, and overall, our stay was fine, but I would not book another stay here, nor would I recommend to others, until/unless renovations take place.
MoreThe manager was extremely rude. Worst experience ever.
