Dating back to August 1995, the Providence Baptist Church is the first-of-its-kind congregation in the city of Providence. Following the religion with complete faith is what the Church preaches; and this is done by means of holding regular prayer services, Sunday school, youth gatherings, missions and other community services. The Church is also an active member of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
