tripadvisorThe staff was awesome. Beautiful views. Very clean and conveniently located
Moreexcellent stay, friendly staff, and the property was very clean
Morethe over all experience was terrible and then to find out the manager lady who was so rude and disgusted was recently arrested I stubbled on this info also the morning crew just seems like they hate being there and just have nasty attitudes the rooms have mildew smell and are completely outdated this was my worst stay anywhere
MoreWe stayed at the hotel for 2 nights to explore Charleston. The hotel is around 2 miles from downtown with paid parking available ($18 per day)The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable. An outdoor pool and gym are also onsite. The big plus point of the hotel is that it’s around 100m from a carta bus stop which connects it to downtown in around 20mins - see pic of routes, the hotel is on route 213. If you download the transit app you can also track the bus so catching it is really easy and free of charge
MoreGood location. Old hotel in need of (major) renovations. Poor food & beverage especially the Concierge (VIP?) lounge on floor 12.. poor quality overall. Do NOT pay for the Concierge Lounge. Very cold restaurant. Very chilly. Same for the Concierge lounge. Parking ok but most spaces are for valet parking for $25/day. Housekeeping daily was good. Overall the North Charleston Marriott was more modern and better service. Not a great value.
