tripadvisorExceptional location in the most beautiful and historic part of town. Walkable to top restaurants, coffee shops, city market, harbor and so much more!Charming inn that has everything you need. I recommend.
MoreGreat location and wonderful staff
MoreAside from 1 star for the location being awesome, the experience at this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Once we checked in and received keys, we walked through a run down courtyard arrived to our room and could not open the sticky door without really pushing hard as it was stuck every time we entered and left. Bed sheet had a tear in it and was put on inside out. Draperies were falling off on both sides, all creating a less than stellar greeting each time we came back to the room. We also were told upon checking in that there is no housekeeping and then gave us 2 towels. When I looked at the hotel online it looked polished and a well taken care of properly which it is not. Shameful to charge about $350 per night and deliver a room in this state. Owners completely taking advantage of their customers. I spoke with the front desk and asked to speak to the manager who was off until Monday and would call me. I received no call. Booked for 3 nights and would have left to stay elsewhere if that was at all possible. If you are looking for a nice, well maintained property, that also has housekeeping, to stay at while in Charleston this is NOT it.
MoreThe Elliot house was a perfect place for our first visit to Charleston! It was centrally located, and had wonderful amenities. Every night there was a wine and cheese board which was great to have before dinner! Plus there were complimentary bikes for you to explore Charleston. The staff were phenomenal. I requested for a quiet room and indeed that’s what we got! Plus they let us check in early, had many recommendations for a beach day we inquired about, and let us store our bags all day when checking out. I definitely recommend!
MoreWe loved our stay! The location and vibe of the Inn was fantastic. The rooms were clean and the beds were so comfortable. Add in the nightly wine and cheese reception, and it was perfect. The stuff was so kind and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
