Located just across Rt 17 from the little enclave of Surfside Beach and only a couple of miles down Surfside Drive from the oceanfront, Surfside Plaza is extremely convenient allowing you to get most of your beach needs timely and almost traffic free. There is a Piggly Wiggly grocery store, Family Dollar and a Burke's department store, which is sort of like a slightly lower version of Marshall's. And there is also a Hardee's on the front corner. We dropped in often for our weekly supplies.
