tripadvisorLocation was perfect, rooms were clean, but showed some wear and tear. Staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were very affordable (an amazing value for ocean front). Daily maid service was a plus! The pools were cleaned every morning!
MoreDo not stay in the condo! At least room we were in.We will not be back!Do better Holiday Sands South!! Outdated. Broken. Furniture dirty. Curtains dirty.. Roaches all over the balcony. The entire building outside run down. Dirty.
MoreWhere to begin….the staff is really nice. However, this hotel needs a 100% rehab from top to bottom. It was one of the most worn down properties I have ever seen in my life. The location is nice. Beach front in a good area with plenty of parking. I guess the price should have screamed stay away. It was extremely inexpensive at little more than $100 a day so this is my fault. I just feel bad that such a property in a prime beach area is beat down with old rugs, furniture, beds, poorly working lights etc. The list of things that need to be fixed, replaced, cleaned and repaired is endless. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion in the rooms. I would not stay again even with the nice staff working at the property.
MoreWe were a family of four on our yearly vacation. 3 adults and a 7 year old. The trouble started at check in. We had split the cost and since 1 adult paid the deposit and a partial payment they would not accept the virtual card for the person the reservation was made under. OK fine-put it on a credit card no biggie. When you enter the hallways to go to the elevator or to go to your room (inside hallways not outside) they were NOT air conditioned and it was so hot you could barely breathe. Again, ok we will make it work. Then the trouble started with the AC in the room. hey came and switched the unit out 4 different times while we were there. Maintenance was RUDE about it too. This happened every night when we returned to the room around 10pm. Then would have to wait on them to come change it again before we could go to bed. We had a 2 bedroom. However, the only way to cool the first bedroom was to turn a fan on with a light switch to suck cool air into the room. That would had been ok but this thing made such a noise that we could not sleep with it on. OK so we go buy a fan. Still trying to make it work. The final straw was the shower had NO water pressure at all. We had to wash our hair in the kitchen sink because we didnt have enough pressure to rinse the shampoo from our hair in the shower. The hallways were nasty and smelled bad and just overall in bad condition. For the $1800 we paid I would have expected at least decent. Oh and the beds were so hard you would wake up sore the next day. My advise is just dont! Find somewhere else to stay! Will not be back.
MoreVery nice clean friendly quiet Hotel. Great value.
