It's a calm aesthetically pleasing space. The staff is wonderful, caring, knowledgeable and excellent at providing great service. There is a variety of service options and over the years, I always left feeling better than when I came in. I really miss my glow time since I moved from the area, and think often of the lovely service I received there over the years.

The Face Place... the place where you enter stressed from your daily grind and leave as if all your problems have disappeared. The Face Place is located just off of Snowden Park way next to Bon Fresco. It looks small from the front, but they have plenty of rooms and space in the back. From the time you enter to the time you leave they do a great job job of making it a true relaxing experience. They first start you off in a relaxation room, which is nice. This allows you to start the process of winding down, putting the phone away and just centering yourself. Then the masseuse come and takes you to their respective room. I believe my masseuse was JoAnn and she is amazing! One of , if not the best massage I have gotten yet. She worked knots that no other masseuse found! Also the room was perfect from the music to the temp, it was inviting, warm and relaxing. I thoroughly enjoyed the massage and will be back for many more! Look no further for your local Massage place!!Also, The Face Place offers some group massage learning classes. These are great as well, JoAnn does an amazing job teaching you hands on techniques and allowing you to work on your partner. The Face Place is my go to for massages in the Columbia/North Laurel Area. I have frequented this spa more than 10 times and I will continue to patronize. The spa is inviting from when you step through the door. The receptionist is delightful and calming. The cucumber water and snacks are great and the massage rooms are comfortable and relaxing. I have had massages from several of the therapists here and I have not been disappointed. All of them are professional and attentive to my needs. I really like the membership program which is very affordable and really helps people to adopt wellness as a way of life. They take their craft seriously and really aim to help you achieve true health. I highly recommend this spa and the many services that they offer.

We have frequented the Face Place several times (>8) and the results are consist: some really good massage therapists. Prices are not cheap, but I would say are consistent with the area. IMO - compared to Massage Envy, the Face Place is more personable with front end personnel and their therapists. They have a large facility with more services than any non-resort spa I've been to. Joanna and Christine are 2 of the most technically sound therapists. Joanna does a deep, deep tissue, as well as Ashiatsu. She hits spots that I wasn't aware were in my body. Christine also does a deep tissue and swedish. Her skill is exceptional, as well.
