Authentic experience and great information provided on computer screens. I learned quite a bit, it was very interesting!

We were the only visitors to this small museum, and had a great introductory chat with the hostess, and a very interesting tour with a young docent. If you are in Marietta this is highly recommended, and will be even better when a couple of outbuildings are open in the near future.

We toured this lovely home on Saturday, March 23rd after shopping and browsing the Marietta Square Farmer's Market! This home is within walking distance of the square and makes you feel like you've stepped back in time! There were several docents dressed in period costume that guided us through the house. They were very informative and had just finished having a tea party in the backyard! We enjoyed the tour and the time spent with the docents!

Really great to get a glimpse of past times in Marietta. Especially with a tour guide (Dennis) who was very knowledgeable and clearly loved the place. The house has been lovingly restored to as near to original as can be, and really makes you think about all the little luxuries we take for granted.Seeing this house really helped me get into context around civil war era history and see what the real people, not the super wealthy lived like.Big shout out to Dennis!! Such a great tour!

wonderful guide who was so nice. Lots to admire if you are a gardener and most plants were marked if you are into heritage plants. Very nice afternoon
