Grommet island park is a nice child's park on the beach itself . The kids will have a fantastic time and it's free. Well maintained

Playground at the end of the Virginia Beach boardwalk. There are restrooms and showers near by. Beach and ocean close and large parking lot.

Small playground in the beach. We came on a cold day, not ideal I know, but the word playground is irresistible for kids. Must be much funnier in the summer. We expected to be a bit bigger and better

Lies Grommet Park (where's Wallace?) Looks like alot of effort was put into it, but not as much lately. Lots of kids of all ages enjoying the offerings. Nearby benches and public bathroom, too.

Fun place to hang out near 2nd street. The park is very well shaded and right on the beach. There is a parking lot at 2nd street as well. This park is good for all age kids with different levels of risk. Plenty of benches for the parents. I love the spongy floor.
