Gio's Chicken Amalfitano is the second installment in Giovanni Di Palma's growing Little Italy complex. Founded after a trip to Italy's Amalfi coast, Gio's recreates traditional Southern Italian chicken dishes, each with a unique spin. The classic Sorrento lemon chicken is the highlight here, made with the same lemons traditionally used for another of the region's specialties, limoncello. Seven chicken options compliment a selection of pastas, desserts and soups, many of which are vegetarian. The quality of ingredients is one of the main distinguishing factors at Gio's, with San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes and Napolese cheese flown in weekly to provide the unmistakable Italian element in each dish.
