I recently visited Q Massage, attracted by their decent reviews and was indeed impressed by the quality of the massage I received. The masseuse was skilled, and the overall experience during the massage was fantastic, leaving me completely satisfied with the service provided. However, my positive experience took a turn after the session ended. Despite expressing multiple times that tipping is against my religious beliefs and practices, the masseuse attempted to coerce me into leaving a tip. I felt that my personal beliefs were not respected, which was disappointing. Even after I explained my stance, the insistence on a tip continued, making the post-massage experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. While the massage service itself was excellent, the pressure to tip despite clear communication about my religious practices marred what would have been a thoroughly enjoyable visit. I believe respecting customers' beliefs and boundaries is essential in providing a service that leaves everyone feeling valued and respected.

I was escorted into a massage room and told to disrobe and lay on the table. There was no sheet, only a small towel. When Lisa came in she said hello and immediately began talking about how fat Americans are and how if we stopped drinking cold water we wouldn’t be so fat. She spent the entire session talking about being fat and dieting. She hollered to other workers thru the door and left the room several times with the door cracked. With no sheet, that is uncomfortable. There was nothing relaxing about this massage or experience! I worry for other customers that go there and are treated like I was... some may not be able to take a full hour of emotional abuse as well as I was. I should have walked out or punched her but I was too stunned. They are also VERY pushy to sell their products. Basically giving you no choice but to buy or be ridiculed. I would suggest you never go.

Mid-Pinellas runners, weightlifters, fitness enthusiasts who want a massage - don't ignore this place. You'll get a decent full hour deep tissue massage that's good for working out sore spots. The staff are generally not English speakers, so speak slowly and clearly if you call.
