Lake is clean and there is a small sandy beach area, which is great for kids. Swimming is very enjoyable, 2 small kiddy slides and a dock in the deeper side. Was disappointed that I could not find the bridge, to take a walk. Also didn't realize that you are charged by person.

My family hosted our Family Reunion Fish Fry on a Friday,in July 2014. Mr. Green (Director), no relation, and his staff were the absolute best. We would not hesitate to host another event here. The accommodations and park areas were clean and well maintained. The swimming was perfect. Attractive and secluded. Well worth visiting.

The beach area is well maintained. The lake is clean and properly maintained. It is close by and used by the town residents.

The bridge is sooo awesome....you get such a great workout (3 miles) plus the views are beautiful..As you are walking along there is all these small billboard that have information about the bridge, birds, etc.

Local quarry that the town turned into a swimming area. It's more of a pond than a lake. Cloudy water and I have come out of the water with leeches on me. Lots of mom's and their young kids
