tripadvisorThe hotel looked decent enough at first, but my stay has been disappointing. My room door doesn’t close properly unless I give it a hard shove. I also received two calls after 11 p.m. from someone trying to reach the front desk.I found a huge cockroach in my closet and reported it through the hotel’s app, asking someone to check my room while I was out. More than four hours later, I received a generic apology with no confirmation that anyone had checked it. When the hotel texted to ask about my stay, I shared my other concerns and received another generic apology without any of the issues being addressed. Then my shower drain backed up, spilling water all over the bathroom floor. I used my towels to clean it up and stopped at the front desk on my way to dinner to request that someone unclog the drain and bring fresh towels.Someone did fix the drain, but I returned from dinner to find my room door left open. The wet towels were still on the floor, and no clean towels had been delivered. I called the front desk, but no one answered, so I had to go back downstairs to request towels again, along with coffee supplies for the next morning since the room isn’t cleaned or restocked daily.Leaving my room door open was especially concerning- I was a single woman traveler. Problems happen, but the lack of follow-through has made this stay frustrating. I shouldn’t have to keep tracking someone down for basic service!
MoreThe Valet team and Ibraham were exceptionally courteous and took great care of us during our 12 day stay. Nyvet at the front desk was delightful and very helpful
MoreI made a reservation for my client, but the day before his stay, his wife became seriously ill and had to be taken to the hospital. Through Expedia, we submitted a request for an emergency cancellation due to the circumstances, and the hotel refused to provide any flexibility whatsoever.I understand cancellation policies exist for a reason, but there should also be room for basic compassion when a legitimate medical emergency occurs.I will NEVER stay at an Embassy Suites again. This experience made it very clear to me that their policy puts money over people, and I will not give my business to a company that chooses to operate that way.
MoreI have stayed many times in this hotel, and every time it gets a little better. It was quite obvious on this visit they had invested quite a lot of money in upgrading certain parts of the hotel - which was very nice.Breakfast is the normal fayre - nothing spectacular but good enough.Housekeeping still one of the best housekeeping teams in the whole Hilton group in the USA - hats of good job team.Reception staff very efficient, extremely professional a few of the 'posher' Hilton could take some lessons from these guys - great job - nothing was too much of a problem.Managers happy hour 'Naz' the bar tender one of the best in the business, understands customers needs and wants - top man.The restaurant - still good food - I had two or three really nice meals there and not too overpriced quality - excellent qualityThe bar is one of the better hotel bars good atmosphere, bar staff are a little slow on the uptake, you can lose the will to live while you wait to grab their attention!!Car parking a little over priced - same with the car valet service - I never use any car valet service as to me it is pointless!!That said these car valet chaps are absolute gentlemen, very professional, extremely well mannered and most importantly NEVER bug you for tips - which in the USA makes a very pleasant change - I have to say of all my experience with car valets in the USA personnel, these guys are outstanding.Rooms as always a good size, good quality pillows and bed linen - great quality towels and the in room soaps and shampoos excellent quality especially the body wash!!Without doubt a good
MoreI strongly advise travelers to avoid this property. As a long‑time Hilton Honors member, I have come to appreciate the brand’s consistency, service standards, and recognition of loyalty. Unfortunately, this hotel repeatedly fails to meet even the most basic expectations of the Hilton name. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made the check‑in process feel like an inconvenience. Their demeanor suggested that assisting guests was interrupting their personal conversations, which set an immediate negative tone for our stay.We checked in for four nights, and the issues began right away. Our room was stocked with only a quarter roll of toilet paper for three guests. Although we managed for two days, housekeeping failed to replenish supplies on the third day. After requesting toilet paper, it took hours for anyone to respond, forcing us to use public restrooms in the meantime. When housekeeping finally arrived, the staff member was loudly engaged in an intimate personal conversation while cleaning. Her lack of professionalism and disregard for guest privacy were unacceptable. When I politely asked her to lower her voice, she became visibly upset and left the room abruptly, slamming the door.We completed our work early and informed the front desk the day before that we would be checking out one day ahead of schedule. The staff member confirmed this was fine. We left at 4 AM, returned the keys, and were told the day shift would email the final bill. Two days later, I received a statement charging us for all four nights. When I called to correct the error, the front desk representative was dismissive and rude, insisting I was responsible for the full stay despite returning the keys and notifying staff. I ultimately had to contact Hilton Guest Services to resolve the matter. This was not an isolated incident. Six months earlier, we stayed at the same property and were charged an early check‑in fee of $25—which was acceptable. However, the hotel incorrectly applied this fee to all four days of our stay. Repeated calls to the property went unanswered, and when I finally reached someone, the call was abruptly disconnected. Once again, Hilton Guest Services had to intervene. These repeated issues demonstrate a pattern of poor service, unprofessional behavior, and billing inaccuracies. It is disappointing and frankly embarrassing that this property operates under the Hilton brand. I hope Hilton leadership takes corrective action to bring this hotel up to the standards loyal guests expect and deserve.
