This theater is a hidden gem. It's cozy with seats for fewer than 200. Although we have seen only one performance, the quality of the performers for Something Rotten was stellar. They sang, they danced and acted with unexpected precision. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the venue. There are also drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks, and snacks in the lobby that can be taken into the theater.Ticket prices are reasonable and parking across the street is free.

We saw White Christmas and to be truthful,I was not expecting too much. I was blown away! The talent on stage was fantastic and we loved the entire evening. I will be back for more shows! I felt like we were on off broadway in NYC..just a blast of an evening!

How could it be that I had not seen a show at this theater before? Well, we will certainly be back. The performance of The Music Man was a terrific experience. Orchestra--yes live--the singing, acting, costumes, choreography, stage setting were all excellent. Prices seem to range from $13 to $25 (plus $2 for ticketing) depending on performance date. Unlike the other 2 reviewers, we did not know anyone in the cast or even associated with the theater. My guess is that the theater seats about 180 people. For the performance we attended (Wednesday night) every seat was occupied. I think there are only 10 rows in this converted former fire station. I expect that all seats offer good viewing. Free nearby parking. The temperature is suppressed for the comfort of the performers in their costumes. We were not cold, but blankets are available for those who are cold.

We visited the Firehouse Theatre because our son was in Bye, Bye Birdie. It's a very nice theatre. Everyone was friendly. They even had a container of blankets if you got cold. I'm always getting cold in those places, so it was very nice to have a thin blanket to keep my legs warm. I think every seat in the theatre would be a great seat for any play there. The actors were all wonderful! It was a great experience. We will be visiting again next month to see Peter & the Starcatcher. Can't wait!

We visited The Firehouse Theatre because a friend of ours was in the cast of To Kill a Mockingbird. What a charming place - a mixture of feeling retro and hometown. We were warmly greeted by theatre volunteers, sat in a full house, and enjoyed a great performance. Will certainly visit again!
