The Averitt Center for the Arts is located in the heart of downtown Statesboro, Georgia and is composed of three different buildings: The Main Building/ Main Gallery (historically the Bank of Statesboro) and Emma Kelly Theater (previously the Georgia Theater), The West Main Building (Rosengart Gallery and the Whitaker Black Box Theater), and the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts. We aim to keep the arts alive in rural georgia and our thriving community of artists and supporters. We hold a wide range of Theater & Dance performances, Professional Gallery events, and Live music concerts from classical to modern genres, and also offer a variety of classes in the fields of visual arts, choral/vocals, dance, theater, and strings. We also hold various other events and hands-on workshops to engage with our community and promote creativity year round.

yelpSmall but convenient art museum and local art center for young and old. Very nice staff, they offer a pottery and wine for locals on Friday (?) nights.
