tripadvisorThis place is pretty awesome! We tent camped here and the hosts were friendly and have (good sized) bundles of firewood they'll drop off at your campsite. There are docks on the water that are fun, multiple playgrounds, kayaks/paddle boats available for rent. There are some food trucks around and the orange snowcone one was the best! I had three in one day! We will definitely be back.
MoreThis is a beautiful lake. Very chill and serene. A must visit. Will be back soon with my friends too.I did feel hungry and didn’t have food. That’s on me though
MoreThis is a great place to swim, kayak, and play on the beach. It’s great for kids. Water is cold if you aren’t used to cold Idaho lakes. It’s a great beach if you can’t go to a real beach. It gets crowded on Saturday’s and on hot weekdays mid afternoons—around 1-4. Best times to avoid crowds are mornings and evenings.
MoreWe enjoyed a two night stay at this little lake right in town. It was warm enough to get in the water to cool off -- lots of people had small kayaks, canoes, rafts and pedal boats along with other flotation devices. The campsites along the water are terrific - you can walk right into the water from you campsite. This is well-located -- just a short drive gets you to a very nice grocery store, the charming downtown area and plenty of other area attractions.
MoreNice lake, not far from the highway. It is $5 per car which is reasonable. Plenty areas to sit in sun or shade. There are kayak and pedalo rentals. Didn't seem to be any food on sale, it was a Sunday so maybe that was why. We had a nice couple of hours here relaxing and reading. Didn't go in the water but there were plenty kids etc in there. There's also a slide in the middle. Cool place for a few hour sit.
