The Georgia Theatre is a really great venue. The location is nice. The building is awesome. The views of the stage are really good.

If you want to be called a sand ni**er by a white woman who works at the venue, then this is the place for you.

Recommend! It was a great venue. We were there for a business trip and they hosted an event there. I am from MN (1st Avenue) and I can honestly say this venue was fun! The bar upstairs gave a great view of the stage as our participants were signing. If anything, the historical things are what I enjoyed. Evening in downtown Athens...need to make sure to make a stop here!

I came for a concert right after a Georgia football game and it was a great experience. I think this was the theater where some of the original artists from Athens help their concerts when they were not so famous.The concert venue is downtown and walking distance to a lot of other nightlife after a concert. There is a bar and restaurant on the rooftop with some great pulled pork sandwiches.The venue looks like it was converted from a movie theater. I had a great experience here.
