The best way to find the graves of The Allman Brothers Band is to pick up the free map available at the front gate. The maps are hanging in a side arch just as you drive in the main gate and shows you how to walk or drive to all the graves associated with the band. It even shows you where to park! Best of all, it’s free!

Beautiful and full of history. Many, many historically local, state, and national figures and families are here. Well maintained. Great walking areas, especially if you like hills! Great architecture and really transports you back in time! Duane and Gregg Allman are buried there. It's definitely worth a visit.

I wanted to see Peter Bracken’s tombstone with the train on it. He is an historical figure in Macon’s history.

Rose Hill Cemetery is so cool. Spread out over a huge expanse of property it is worth a bit of time to try to see as much as possible.

We went here to see the ABB graves, but ended up seeing a few more. The cemetery was not very well kept when we were there, it was in desperate need of mowing and weed eating, but we saw the crew starting the upkeep upon our exit. We were given a map at the Big House, which was a huge blessing, as i didn’t see any provided at the cemetery - and it is a huge place! It was not crowded at all, so we could pull over and look at anything we wanted without feeling like we were bothering anyone.
