This is a beautiful and nice to stay at hotel. It is not designed for young children. There were some activites for Easter such as a movie in the lobby but not many. The pool is 4 -5 feet deep without steps, this is good for older kids. No arcade (fine with us). The destination fee includes mostly benefits to adults such as drinks. The beds were comfortable, it was clean. The room became quite humid after showers. The river view was great. The location is great for getting to the river and walkability to the historic district. I would recommend this for adults or adults with older children. The valet parking was great!
MoreMy hubby and I visited Savannah for the first time last week and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Savannah. What a treat! The lobby is spacious, modern and reminiscent of arriving somewhere in the tropics. The reception staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was nice and spacious with a view of the river. The hotel staff really made my birthday celebration special. Most impressive was the concierge Mr. Phil. He was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in our hopes and plans for our trip. We would definitely stay there again!

MoreMy wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a 2 day meeting. The hotel is in a great convenient area on the riverfront and the staff was very good. It’s not cheap (valet parking, etc) but what we have come to expect. The conference meeting rooms were fine and our room on 6th floor was fine. The banquet one night on the riverfront was superb. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.
