This quaint property offers the convenience of a modern hotel with the charm of a country inn. Decorated lavishly with local artwork and historical artifacts, the Marshall House has paid loving attention to both style and authenticity, particularly in the guest rooms. Most feature the original windows and pine floors, and some offer cozy verandas overlooking the street. Guests are welcome to enjoy the full access privileges at the Downtown Athletic club, or at 45 Bistro, an eclectic fine dining experience.

tripadvisorWhat a wonderful hotel - beautiful, interesting, great service, welcoming front room, nice breakfast. Highly recommend the balcony king room where you can step thru the window only the lovely balcony. Have wine and sparkles on weekend nights. All together it was very fairly priced.
MoreRoom was a bit dated. Unfortunately we were assigned a room - 208- where the curtains and blinds didn’t close allowing light and noise to filter in from the breakfast dining area prior to opening at 7am. Also the air condition in the hallway was frigid and unreasonable. We were looking forward to our full southern breakfast per the website and were sorely disappointed Everything was cold and the grits were terrible All that said the employees were fabulous and friendly and the location was great. I think you can make some simple fixes to make everyone’s stay more enjoyable.Thank you
MoreFriendly and efficient check-in. Clean room. Fantastic atmosphere. Perfectly located to explore old Savannah on foot. Breakfast was good, but only knock is service was slow.
MoreWe've been visiting Savannah for years and have always enjoyed staying at The Marshall House. During this visit, there were a few frustrations with reservation management and some of the newer technology-based valet processes, which left us wondering if the hotel had changed. Then we saw Mr. Carlton.Mr. Carlton has been a familiar face for years, and seeing him this morning honestly felt like seeing an old friend. His kindness, professionalism, work ethic, and genuine care for guests are exactly what hospitality should be. At a time when so many hotels rely on apps, texts, and automated systems, Mr. Carlton reminded us that the most important part of any hotel experience is still the people. He immediately helped smooth everything out, answered our questions, and made us feel welcome. His positive attitude and dedication do not go unnoticed. The Marshall House is a beautiful historic property, but employees like Mr. Carlton are what make it memorable. He is one of the reasons we continue coming back to Savannah.Thank you, Mr. Carlton. We appreciate you more than you know.Ken & Lisa Korte
