This local favorite, gorgeously situated on the historic oceanfront promenade of Avenida Menendez, is a strong contrast to most of its neighbors. While certainly possessed of an ageless grace, it's clearly from a bygone era when rents were lower and businesses of non-elite tastes and targets could afford to inhabit the premises. Indeed, the decor and architecture is markedly dated, but the staff is courteous and welcoming, and the food has kept St Augustine residents coming back fopr decades. The eponymous harbor view is likewise an attraction, and daily specials often provide a sumptuous repast at a steal of a price.
