Very quiet motel. We stayed in the penthouse which is above all the other rooms (Rm. #201). Nothing in the room is square, (think H.P. Lovecraft The Dreams in the Witch House) which makes it quaint and cozy. Great view of sunsets looking towards the Fort. Breakfast is the best of any motels we have stayed in with a beautiful view of the river. Easy access to the Lions Bridge, quick easy trip to town. Will visit again in same room. Thanks!

I hesitate to write this review because I really want to keep this place all to myself. What a wonderful property. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating, the social hour, the included breakfast, all wonderful. The star of the show are the rocking chairs 10’ from the Intracoastal waterway. We actually saw dolphins swimming by our room while sitting outside at sunset. The room was clean, the bed was super comfy. Just a short walk over the bridge to downtown and a 5 star experience all the way around. We will be back for sure! Thank you Edgewater Inn for a great couple days.

Very warm welcoming with knowledgeable staff. A genuine Lodge/Inn experience with interactive staff. Location is great, close to historic district but, peacefully quiet. Thanks.

We have stayed at the Edgewater many times. Always in room 101 with a beautiful view of the city and Lions Bridge. No complaints but one of the windows blinds needs repair or replacement.
