tripadvisorSakura has very tasty, fresh food. Reasonable price, huge portions. Staff, Samuel was amazing!!! I highly recommend
MoreThere's really nothing exciting to look at really. Shops like Hollister moved to another site and there's a lot of indie shops instead. I also went to JCPenney and saw that they had a makeup section, so I went to it and one of the workers pretty much assumed I was stealing... I was looking at makeup brushes and I could literally feel her presence behind me looking at me and my siblings. I then proceeded to ask her something to make it less Awkard and she took me to a section of items after I was going to leave because they have very limited items and couldn't find the specific product I was looking for, she then asks for the makeup brush that I was holding before because she needed to put it back. I had put the makeup brush down as soon as she turned around to guide me to the skincare section. She laughed it off after I told her I put it down and I also went back to show her where I put the makeup brush. For the rest of my shopping trip in that mall I kept feeling comfortable.
MoreI stopped here on two occasions during the last week of April when I was visiting Daytona Beach. When I stopped here on Sunday, I found there was really only one store open at 11:15 AM, and that was the bookstore Books A Million; the majority of stores opened at Noon, except there were two food places open earlier. I liked the overall feel of Volusia Mall, but it was sad to see the big empty former Sears store and a very deficient Food Court. I hope this place someday is revitalized, but I will be here again regardless...
MoreDead as a door nail. Nothing really here anymore. the shops are closed. Nothing in the food court but chinese and they were even closed. you have to walk all the way back toward JcPenney to see anything and still there really isn't anything there worth going to the mall. The pictures they still have up about the mall are old and outdated. there isn't a fountain anymore. and like i said the mall is empty really
Morethe mall itself has enough potential ... it'd take the right owners who appreciate people with the ideas to ignite things. that's all i have to say about that for now ..
