I will never go to this shop ever again : I just received the worst treatment in a shop ever as a human here: the woman who worked there today is extremely disagreeable and very negative ( and most probably xenophobic) . I entered the shop saying Hello in Dutch politely with the intention to buy a necklace holding a mini bottle of ginger and very little juice left in my hand. She immediately said « can you close the bottle because it could spills here and I don t want to have to clean it ».I close the mini bottle and said if I d spill it I d clean it myself. Then she said « yes but I don’t want to go and get the cleaning products etc for you »…This is exactely what you need to do if you want to cancel an almost converted sale. After looking around for about 20 seconds I said I was almost going to buy something but didn t feel like it anymore - when I left she called me an idiot. Some people should go retirement but not work in shops if they don t feel like working. We were 3 people in the shop and for the 3 minutes I was there she stayed with her butt on her seat behind the computer completely uninterested not offering any assistance to anyone and we said hello first. And now that wouldn’t surprise me if the shop said I d lie instead of apologizing for their repulsive unfriendly behavior. I wasn’t dressed inappropriately, had a tiny bottle of healthy ginger juice in my hand and was polite. That’s it but this woman had to take her frustrations on me. Well I don’t want it. If you don’t want to work then don’t work but stop abusing people like that on top calling me names when I left Really outreagous and unacceptable.Congratulations for the WORST customer service and shopping assistance EVER. Not.

I have no idea how this store can get a negative review of any kind. The stones are exceptionally curated. They are spectacular. The knowledge that the owner of Stone Age regarding Crystology and the minerals that compose stones is remarkable. This is no small feat! It is a lifetime of study. When purchasing stones there are plenty of fake, treated and dyed stones sold by dishonest sellers on internet. You often will not get what you paid for. I want to choose the stone I purchase, hold it in my hand, study it's beauty. Buying your stones locally with a reputable and knowledgeable dealer is an experience in confidence. Tallahassee is fortunate to have Stone Age here.

The Stone Age store is my go to for some of my spiritual needs, a recent visit has offended me and probably will not visit this store again. When checking out with my products one of the cashiers questioned me about a ring on my finger. I was truly bothered because she followed me around the store as if I was going to steal. I never went to the side of the store where the jewelry was so it pissed me off that she would even questioned me about the ring I had on. I don't want to refer to this situation as a racial situation but, I can't come up with any other answer.

The layout of the store is much better than the previous location. It’s easier to see everything and the natural light makes the place much homier. Definitely the best metaphysical shop in town.
