Set in an inconspicuous building that is a red as the interiors, the Elbow Room has been around for more than five decades albeit in a slightly different location. Opened in 1963, the dive bar is a favorite in the neighborhood. Once inside, the neon red glow casts an eerie glow that brings to life the huge cutouts of Mr. Spock, Captain Kirk and other pop culture idols adorning the bar.
