A haven for all interior decorators, The Shop is a 3500 square feet (325.16 square meters) of creative space designed to inspire. The rooms are decorated with unique masterpieces made with wood furniture imported from India, Tibet and China. They also have lovely holiday gifts and decor, collectibles, wall art, garden decor, religious artifacts, iron fittings, place mats, door screens and many more items. The Shop also features a unique folk artists collection which include Joe Spencer, Plush Pumpkins, Vergie Lightfoot, Robin Seeber, Diane Whitehead, Kelly Rae, Lori Mitchell and many other talented artists. With new pieces added every season, there is always something new to look forward to at The Shop.

I discovered Micanopy and The Shop quite by accident after visiting Payne Prairie State Park. A week later, I am still thinking about this whimsical and magical shop, so perfectly staged and surprises around every corner. In a world of Walmarts and Targets, this shop is a dream (and a small business.) Worth finding!
