What a great art gem in Deland. So many talents and a great variety both of art and pricing. Friendly, welcoming, clean. Got almost all my travel gifts for friends while there.

Disgusting! The first so-called exhibit had a mannequin in bondage and sex toys scattered around, labeled as, transgender bathroom. Stetson University should be fined for promoting this kind of thing.

I have a north American museum pass and this is one of the many museums to visit. It is a delight and a beautiful area right across from Stetson college.

There are two buildings. One is right inside of the college and walking around college premises is a must when visiting DeLand. This part of the museum has its own parking and the quality of works is just above everything you can imagine.The best part is that the works are of local artists and not some variations of foreign paintings that you see everywhere. What we saw in this museum is absolutely original and I promise you , you'll be blown away by these artists' works. We were. And we must say we saw a lot of art museums around the world.The second part is right in the heart of the downtown. This one is also very original and super interesting. We had a pleasure of talking with people who work in both museums. Everybody is so knowledgeable, kind and so interesting to talk to.These visits were very special for us. DeLand is a very artistic town and the idea that it has such rich and beautiful art museums just put it in a very special category.

Nice little museum with a little variety. This is a permanent collection. I'd love to see a little local art mixed in that is changed/rotated from time to time.
