We went on the Redwood National and State Park 5 day private tour, hotel included. We started and ended in San Francisco, spent 4 nights in Eureka at a historic hotel. We are an older couple with mobility and stamina issues. Nicolas was our guide and he was a real champion. He was patient, funny and a great driver.He knew where to take us so we could walk through the redwoods and experience their quiet majesty. This was the perfect way for us to see the coastal redwoods.

We just returned from an absolutely amazing 5-day trip to Yosemite, Monterey and Carmel. The sites were so beautiful that words and photos do not do them justice but what made the trip even more special was our guide Nicolas. Nicolas took care of every detail from taking us to the must see sites and the hidden gems, knowing when to go to avoid crowds and maximize the experience, explaining the history of what we were seeing, making sure we had water and snacks along the way, being our photographer so that all the memories were captured, curating playlists to meet our musical likes for the car rides, and being a true delight to spend 5 days with! We have traveled with guides on other trips and hands down this was the best one yet! I highly recommend!

We had a fabulous 2 day tour with Mary from Golden Horizons - it was a private 2 day tour from San Francisco to Monterey/Carmel and a tour of the Hearst Castle. Mary was a terrific guide but more importantly she was delightful and very caring and a very safe and competent driver. The tour company were very thoughtful in arranging this tour to suit our needs.

In our two days with Brandon we could tell that he really enjoys his job. He was great, amazing and he was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We really enjoyed our time with him. We are a group of eight people so it wasn’t easy with us but Brandon was very patient, fulfilled any wishes we had and made us ecstatic with his Friday suprise. We miss him already and hopefully we will see him in our country.
