This is our favorite theater in the Melbourne area, located just behind Melbourne Sqare Mall in the Oaks shopping center. Plenty of parking and other restaurants in the area. Theaters are very well maintained, clean and a pleasure to watch your movie of choice. Prices are very reasonable and concessions are varied, of good quality and service is always exceptional. Highly recommend and an exceptional experience, value and a place to return for great movies.

My wife and I recently discovered the Premier Cinema and proclaimed it our new movie theatre because I am a movie buff. This evening I went to see Greenland2. I bought my ticket online, purchased a medium popcorn and a medium soda then went into the theatre and sat down. As the movie began, someone two seats ahead of me turned on their cellphone. I asked them to put the phone away, but they ignored me. I sat through about 45 minutes of the movie and they kept the phone on the whole time. I finally got fed up with the distraction and left to find a manager. I told an employee what was happening and requested to see the manager. The manager took his sweet time coming to the counter to see me and when I told him what was happening he asserted that I could have told any employee and they would have taken care of it. I explained that I had in-fact told an employee and he offered up the argument that I had asked for a manager so that's why she the employee didn't take care of it. The employee then went into the theatre to identify who the person with the phone was, but she recognized them as a behaviorally challenged person and sought out the manager for instruction on whether to speak directly to the person with the phone or their guardian. By this time I had missed about fifteen minutes of the movie so I requested a refund. The manager came out and requested my ticket. He then began to scrutinize where I had purchased it. At this point, based on his responses and demeanor I assumed that he was going to find a way to talk me out of the refund (otherwise he would have given it to me when I requested it) so I told him to forget the refund and left never to return. I started out the evening a big fan of Premier cinema, but they ruined it.

Nice, highly recommend, comfortably seats, theater large, plenty of snacks and price are great. I can't wait to see another movie at this theater.

The theater was beautiful, draped in red velvet with a truly large screen, like the good ol' days. The movie looked great on the big screen, but we did hear rumbling from the soundtracks of nearby movies.The thing that earned them 5 stars is the service. Cindy, Bryce, and others were very helpful in trying to find my husband's lost wallet. They sent a person back with me between showings so we could search and turn on the house lights. I can't imagine that happening at a chain theater.This is a lovely independent theater. I am sure we will be back.

Do NOT go here on the weekends! The party upstairs was so LOUD. We heard the music and D.J. over the movie. Management said, “The party got a little loud.” Seriously. As much as we paid to go there, the attitude was ridiculous. We will NEVER be back!!!
