tripadvisorFirst time at Riverside and I’m sure it won’t be our last. Jesus Christ Superstar was fantastic! Cast, set and interpretation simply stellar! Also worth noting that all the employees that make things work were pleasant and patient.
MoreAbsolutely superb cast and orchestra made this production full of joy and fun.(And who doesn't need some joy and fun in their lives these days)? This, after seeing the superb Master Class here earlier in the season, we are again reminded of the absolute jewel that exists at the Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach. We are often in awe and deep appreciation of the artists, actors, and players that are brought to The Riverside as part of the season's book of award-winning musicals and plays. The talent is simply extraordinary, as in Singin' in the Rain, where lucky attendees were enthralled by the singin' and dancing of all in the ensemble cast, but especially leads Michael Starr, Joe Capstick, and Sara Esty. Thank you to all at The Riverside, including its loyal supporters, who, year after year, elevate and enrich our lives with the stellar productions you bring to our community.
MoreWe recently saw Singing in the Rain. It was the best production I have seen in years. We had a membership at the Boston Opera House for several years to compare to. Hats off to Riverside for bringing in excellent talent.
MoreNo one stood out as an amazing singer, The singing was pumped out too strong, not great voices just loud. Men were rather weak but girls too strong, it clashed. Not sure the best was done in casting, wow needed one drop dead person in there.
MoreI left after about 10 minutes of the show that was trite, unoriginal and predictable. I was not planning on going as I don't like Juke Box Musicals,I prefer an original score. But we had friends here in from a cruise and I had to entertain them.
