Wanted to spice up our wedding a bit so got recommendations re: where to take ballroom classes - and overwhelming response was here. We were taught by Jeffery (a woman, incidentally!) and Andrew when she wasn't available. Fun, professional, level appropriate expectations, and an overall very good result. I wish we had time to go back just for fun! Price I think was appropriate

I have been dancing for well over 8 years. While I have been to many studios in the Reno area along with the bay area, I will always come back to The Ballroom. I love the friendliness of all the staff and other dancers, this place feels like family. The Ballroom encourages newcomers to try out the different styles with free beginner group classes. Once you find what you like, you can take group classes in the different styles or go for private lessons, your choice!

Want to try competing? check. Whatever your dance style or preference, the Ballroom of Reno has some of the best teachers, classes and activities available in the Reno area. Many people, like myself, drive long distances to take lessons or attend their wide range of functions. The facility has a large main floor and several smaller rooms, each with good dance floors and attention to detail to make one's dancing experience a pleasure. They have a broad spectrum of teachers to meet the needs of any level, any age dancer or wannabe dancer, beginning or professional. The primary owner is a teacher of the teachers with national credentials who also teaches body mechanics for athletes and others. I've been to just about every studio in Reno in the past 5 years, and Ballroom of Reno is now my studio of choice. It's my understanding that all beginning classes are free.
