Royal Poinciana Plaza is one of Palm Beach's most treasured architectural gems. Built in 1957 and carefully restored to its original mid-century glamour in 2017, it is an island icon, landmarked property and beloved destination for discerning Palm Beachers that features exceptional shopping, dining and space to enjoy a moment in paradise. Located at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, it was designed by John Volk, architect to American's royal families like the Vanderbilts, DuPonts, Fords and Pulitzers and is organized around two lush, central courtyards, terrazzo walkways and patios. Open from 10 to 6 Monday through Saturday and 11 to 5 on Sunday, it includes such high end brand names as Acquavella Galleries, Alice & Olivia by Sgacey Bendet, Beach, Bottega Venata, Cartier, Saint Laurent, Oscar de la Renta, Hermes, Kiton, Bognar & Piccolini, Cremieux, Glazer Hall, Jenni Kayne, James Perse and Thom Browne. Take a lunch break at TooJay's, The Honor Bar, Palm Beach Grill or Celis Juice Bar.

I have purchased thousands of products from Kiton. Many very high end expensive cotton sneakers. I have cleaned them in the washer with cushioned shoe bags and only air dried them. My most recent cotton sneaker purchase less than 2 months ago I washed on a warm cycle in a cushioned sneaker bag. The sneakers disintegrated. I asked for an exchange as my prior experiences was not reflective of this defective pair of sneakers. The manager of this store made the decision they would not replace with a new pair even after being explained the unusual experince from prior Kiton sneakers. This should have been such an easy decision. When I've asked to speak to the manager directly, I get no reply and they are not in.BUYER BEWARE - The management of this location is very short-sided for a long-term customer in my first request to exchange the first of many products I've purchased of the Kiton name. So very disappointed in both the product and the company's local management.

Stopped by trying to find a specialist bakery but didn’t find what I was looking for. However, the plaza itself is very pretty although disappointing that some outlets do not open at the same time as the plaza especially on Sunday.

Royal Poinciana Plaza is a 180,000-square-foot retail center that was designed by architect John Volk in 1957. Volk had previously designed homes for the rich and famous including the Vanderbilts, Duponts, and the Pulitzers. He was allowed to design Royal Poinciana Plaza in any style he wanted with the condition that it be relevant for at least 50 years. He added two courtyards, colonnades, gardens, and fountains to the shopping center. The plaza opened in 1958 and it perfectly evokes the classy upscale Palm Beach lifestyle. The plaza has a lot of high end shops like Beach by Everything But Water which sells swimwear, Jimmy Choo (shoes), Asprey London, Kiton, Oscar De La Renta, Saint Laurent, Hermès, Zimmerman, LoveShackFancy, Theory, and Cremieux. If you are looking to be pampered the Nail Lab will give you pedicures while Paul Labrecque and the Edward Fleming Salon cuts hair, waxes, and gives facials. There is also a wellness center, Holistic Integrative Health, and Hiscup Spine, a back pain specialist. There are seven art galleries to decorate the walls of your Palm Beach mansion. Dining and drink options include Celis Produce, The Honor Bar, Saint Ambroeus, Palm Beach Grill, Too Jay's Deli, and Coyo Taco. There are investment and real estate offices. Not to mention one of the most elegant U.S. Post offices I have ever come across. In the summer of 2020 the Royal Poinciana Plaza got a $2.7 million dollar upgrade with new features and stores. Recent additions to the plaza are SoulOutside by Soul Cycle, Roller Rabbit with bohemian inspired brightly colored textiles, 100% Capri selling luxury linens and houseware, Alice + Olivia a clothing store favored by celebs, and Stoney Clover Lane which specializes in custom bags, pouches, and small accessories. Although I didn't end up with that Hermès scarf or Jimmy Choo heels I still loved my visit to this elegant landmark of luxury. It is an architectural gem. Royal Poinciana Plaza has everything you think of when you imagine Palm Beach, palm trees, warm, weather, and beautiful people.
