Veterans Memorial Park and Museum is a beautiful park and museum dedicated to the war heroes who served or died during the several battles that the US military forces were engaged in. Though a small parkland, this well-maintained facility is poignant and is nestled by the canal-side. Tree-laden, the memorials are named after the conflicts fought and the medals won. There is a section in the park that is full of torpedoes, cannons, artillery tools and helicopters. Stroll through the paths, check out the indoor repository or enjoy picnicking. There are benches across the park. Fishing is allowed as well.

tripadvisorI´m from Ecuador and like the history about war and veterans. Tampa it´s a place that I visit very often. The Memorial Park and Museum has a good display about the diferent military conflicts that US were involved, and every US intervention has it´s own display. It has real weapons, miniatures, flags, monuments, names and the most important thing, they have people to tell about the history and they are very kind. It´s a good place to visit and pay respect for all the veterans and specially for the Hillsborough County
MoreWe are from NH and went to visit our son and daughter in law. They have been there several times and told us we needed to see this!!!! My husband is a Vietnam veteran and and my dad was a veteran for my wars. We were in awe that this was just so awesome and paid such tributes the wars and to all the VETERANS--still with us or lost . We can't wait to go back again Hampton NH
MoreThis is a beautiful park with unbelievable memorials. We spent a lot of time walking around and viewing all the memorials. Amazing place. Everything was very neat and clean.
MoreWe've had lunch here and visited many times. I highly recommend this park to those that have served, had families that have served or those that just want a nice quite place to have lunch. This park is well kept and nice!
