For more than a century, Anderson Lumber has been part of the fabric of St. Petersburg. Our family has been involved in the local construction industry since 1908, beginning with Theo Anderson’s commercial building work and continuing through generations of homebuilding and craftsmanship. In 1949, the Anderson family opened a retail lumber operation that later evolved into a specialty millworks and high‑quality lumber business under the next generation. Today, Anderson Lumber is proudly operated by the fourth generation, continuing a legacy built on integrity, craftsmanship, and personalized service. We are an old‑school specialty lumber yard focused on premium, hard‑to‑find, and custom‑milled products—not commodity lumber. Rather than competing with big‑box stores, we provide the kind of quality, expertise, and tailored solutions that only a dedicated specialty yard can offer. We also provide delivery throughout the state of Florida for a fee, making it easier for builders, woodworkers, and homeowners to get the exact materials they need, wherever their project takes them. For over 100 years, our commitment has remained the same: exceptional materials, knowledgeable guidance, and a genuine dedication to the community we’ve served for generations.
