SO SKETCHY, I couldn’t even stay there after paying $514 for 2 nights! If I could give negative stars I would!!! A man was under an suv parked in the parking with a flashlight & drill at 3:30am while his beat up van w/crap filled trailer attached & 5+ bikes strapped to top was parked way across the lot. Multiple homeless were hanging outside the rooms & room door was super beat up from past break ins. Door peep hole even had toilet paper stuffed in it from prior scared guest. There were even old fold up chairs placed outside each room for people to do their drugs (some were literally being used as such the very few minutes I was there). I ended up calling & staying with a friend as this place is worse than the Bates Motel & I was fearful I’d end up in the bathtub full of ice missing my kidney or worse!!! I DO NOT recommend ANYONE stay here, much less pay $250/night!!!!!!

My wife and I purchased home on the water close by the hotel. I booked this hotel online and paid for 1 nights stay. My wife drove over by car with our certified service dog and I drove our boat from Fort Lauderdale. My wife arrived at the hotel late afternoon as she waited to check in at the window a woman walked up and told her no dogs are allowed on the property. The front desk clerk was working with customer. She told my wife to leave immediately and she did. She walked back to the person and said here's my reservation please cancel our room. When I called the next morning they said we were a NO SHOW and the charge wont be reversed.

Nice view of river, decent shower, comfortable bed, mostly friendly people. Very run down, SMELLY, dirty, rude desk person 2nd night, appeared to be at least three homeless people hanging our with shopping carts of their belongings by the river view rooms at night, two others smoking a few doors down. By second night I had a asthma attack from the moldy smell in the room and the air spray. I needed to get medical help and a $50.00 asthma inhaler! $169ish 1st night, no charge 2nd, cancelled last 3 nights. Terrible experience, I would cancel my vacation before I would go there again.

Do Not stay in this disgusting hotel. Drug addicts, prostitution and drug deals. We walked in and walked out. Scariest hotel I've ever seen. Also had bedbug residue on mattresses ( yes I checked) turned around got our money backband went across the street. Any time you have to ealk up to a window and the office door is locked, should be a telltale sign. This facility shouldcbw removed off Trip Advisor and Booking. False advertising.

The staff is exceptional, friendly & helpful. We don’t stay at outside entrance hotels but decided to try Riverview after reading the reviews. There are plenty of security cameras so we never felt uncomfortable. We wanted a location on the river & this place was priced right for our stay. The entrance doors to rooms could fit better, replacing carpet with tile or laminate flooring & some better outdoor seating would greatly improve the overall experience. We would stay here again when we are in the area.
