Buckingham Blues Bar Jazz Club ·$

The "World Famous" Buckingham Blues Bar is located in not-so famous Fort Myers suburb of Buckingham. The bar itself has been around since 1957, however it underwent a renovation in the past decade or so. Despite the new ventilation system and removal of nicotine stained ceilings, the bar is friendlier to smokers as well as non-smokers and its popular backyard beer garden make it a favorite among locals. In the backyard, you'll also find Bucky, the Beer Drinking Mule. Blues music and regular concerts are the norm; Wednesdays are Jam Nights where all musicians are welcome and Thursdays host Pool Tournaments.

This is our favorite venue for great music! The backyard blues festivals are amazing and on Sundays you never know who might show up. Always great time.

By far, Tommy Lee Cook and his Buckingham Blues Bar, are the best ...Outdoor stage is a gift for every music lover, especially at Winter time in Florida.Designed to perfection, serves the musicians and the visitors for full Blues experience. Sandy Atkinson and her band True Loves were Rockin' the Blues Saturday afternoon. With endless energy andsultry voice, Ms. Atkinson, singer and song writer, gave her best to her fans.Besides her original songs, she sang few classic Blues tunes, including Big Mama Thornton's - You Ain't Nothing But The Hound Dog... what a treat for every Blues lover.Originals like Let It Go made audience silently moving and getting closer to their partners, but just for the moment, because Have A Good Time Tonight got them up and dancing, barefoot on the clean grass in front of the stage...There are no enough stars to grade experience provided by Sandy Atkinson, Tommy Lee Cook and atmosphere at Buckingham Blues Bar.

$30 cover music event, start time was misprinted. We sat in sun waiting for the startHeralded lead singer not present, not enough music and too much advertised tofuture events. We felt as if we paid for an infomercial. The afternoon would have beenacceptable if entry was free.
