Downtown Fort Myers offers old-fashioned dinner theater and though it may be a throwback to the heyday of the 70's, it's a kitschy, novelty to say the least. The evening starts with an expansive buffet topped with lavish desserts and the menu varies depending on the type of show. The main theater stages traditional musicals, while the children's theater presents fairy tales alongside hamburgers or pizza. The 'Off Broadway' Palm Theatre offers newer shows in an intimate general admission setting. Reservations are recommended, and no shorts or T-shirts are allowed.

MoreThoroughly enjoyable experience with a good musical alongside a tasty dinner, The dinner was a mix of serve yourself buffet and table service which was alomgside a serve yourself main course option on the night we visited. Lots of space between tables was unusual as often these type of show venue are a bit cramped. Free fowing soft drinks kept us refershed on a hot night. The food iteslf was tasty and plentiful with loads of choice at each course. Everythig on the buffet was fresh and the service areas were well stocked at all times. The show itself started off badly as the ead cast member had a microphone that worked only intermitently but the team spotted this and stopped the show after just about five minutes, reset things and started again - all with good humor from both cast and crewe (and the packed audience). Overall an enjoyable evening and I am sure we will be back sometime. Recommended.
MoreThis remains a great operation with a great show, talented actors with beautiful singing voices and top of the line dancing. The wonderful food operation is impressive. We had plated prime rib which was excellent. Salad bar and desserts were very very tasty. The food service was excellent. Our server was very very attentive. We signed up online which was very easy. The venue itself is very nicely laid out and bathrooms were clean. The Show was outstanding from the music to the costumes and scenery. Truly a local GEM!!!
MoreVery good food buffet!! The opening night of Wizard of Oz was incredible! Fantastic acting and singing! As professional as it gets. New York and Chicago could learn from these people. Worth the money for sure!!
MoreThis theater really has some heart. The performers are top notch and after seeing several plays i see the commitment of the company and their talents shine! The costumes and singing voices are truly enjoyable. We enjoyed great service from D’Angelo and everyone else. I see that they try to put out a good meal with some variations and good management to keep customers moving through the buffet. Some exceptional dishes is their prime rib plate and tasty vegetables. And the chocolate cake. Salads are very fresh and the ice-cream bar is very very entertaining and good. If you’re in town catch a play and see for yourself. The acoustics are top notch. Parking is free and easy. Location excellent. We saw the musical 1967 and loved it!
