My family booked this hotel due to the breakfast included because we were here for a tournament that would require strict morning time requirements. On the morning of 10/18/26, we were informed that breakfast ended at 10am. We arrived at the buffet at 9:10 am and found it completely empty. Another lady who had arrived earlier than my family was complaining it was empty when she arrived. She went to the front desk person (pgomez2 because she refused to identify herself and was not wearing a name tag) and asked if the food would be replenished. Pgomez2 stated yes the dining staff member was working on it. Multiple guests were sitting in the dining area waiting for dining staff to arrive with more food for at least 10-15 minutes. When she finally emerged from the back she was approached by the guest that was there before me and the staff member said to her that she was not refilling it because breakfast ends at 10am and it was 9:28. The guest stated “but we’ve been out here since 9am and it was empty then.” After some words were exchanged, I witnessed the staff member say to the guest “Next time come earlier!” And then the dining staff member disappeared into the back after slamming the door. Staff member emerged again and was met by the same guest who was upset about not getting anything to eat and the staff member said “you’ll be alright”, disappeared into the back and slammed the door again. After hearing she was not replenishing the food, I approached the front desk, Pgomez2, and asked for the dining employee’s name so that I could let management know what had transpired and who the employee was that it occurred with. Pgomez2 refused to give the name of the employee and her only response was “they’ll know who you’re talking about.” I asked for the front desk employee for her name and she refused to give her name. None of these employees were wearing name tags which I thought was below standard anyway for such a large corporation. The sign on the wall stated that Kayla was the manager on duty. I asked to speak with Kayla. Pgomez2 stated “she’s not on duty but I’m getting a manger now.” After waiting for the manger who never showed I asked who was the manager on duty that she called, she said Mike. I said is he in house? She stated yes. I said so why is it taking so long? She stated “it’s not that easy, I’m trying because he’s not on duty.” I said but didn’t you just say he is on duty. So who is on duty Mike or Kayla? She stated “it’s Mike” so I asked why was Kayla posted as MOD she said that’s not right and proceeded to take the sign down and leaving the sign empty with no listed manager on duty. Pgomez2 also stated when I asked for both their names “you don’t have a right to get our names.” I said so you can give out manager names but not yours or the dining staff member. She refused to respond. Throughout this interaction the dining staff member was constantly walking up to the front desk and she and Pgomez2 were texting on their phones and showing them to each other as if they were conversing about the situation. In the end, the manager never showed up and my entire family did not get the breakfast we paid for because we had to be at the tournament at 10am. This is very unfortunate that customer service could cause a nice place to be such an awful experience.

I was a little apprehensive booking this hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised . Room was clean, fairly modern and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was another plus, they had waffles you could make, eggs filled with cheese, sausage, muffins and yogurt. Shower was nice and hot too. Only down side would be there is very little if any insulation between rooms so you could hear your neighbors. Luckily they weren’t loud. Would recommend this hotel if you’re passing through.

Plumbing issues with toilet, and this hotel tried to keep my money. They couldn’t fix the toilet, didn’t have another 1st floor suite room which I booked 4 months ago and then gave me the story I had to pay for the room because it was now used (we inspected it in first 5 minutes before moving our luggage in and flushed the toilet and ran the shower to test). I said I was calling the Sheriff and the couple in line behind me left without checking in. I was refunded but not without attitude and push back from a less than positive attitude. I’m calling corporate management team on Monday to file a complaint. This property is Not a good option unfortunately.

Heads up... Fees and taxes are half the cost of a hotel room; $60 on a room that was supposedly $111; didn't find out till I booked on my credit card. I signed up for a promotion, gave my email and was supposed to get $25 off - not on that room - standard Queen. At this point I already believe their marketing to be deceptive so not sure how the room will be.

We were in the area to visit friends and looking for a place to stay. We booked only 1 night so that we could determine what the hotel was like to determine if we wanted to stay longer. Very disgusted with this hotel. Room was only surface cleaned. The bathroom had mould in the shower and hair on the floor. There were food crumbs on the floor under the air conditioner. The room had a very strong cigarette smoke smell and it was a non smoking room!!
