tripadvisorA MUST DO!. We never parasailed before and even though we were a wee bit nervous..we went first. Matt the Captain and James the extraordinaire - were brilliant. The music on the boat was jamming. The parasailing was UNBELIEVABLE. We saw jelly fish galore and a shark. 400 feet is the air at 30mph- was breathtaking. You feel weightless and totally relaxed. These 2 guys are the best and Matt resembles Aaron Roger's girls! Thank you for making our bucket list such a positive experience. Cheers. Lynne
MoreA should NOT miss adventure right off Marco Island beach. Captain Ryan and First-mate Josh immediately instilled confidence in my wife and I as first time parasailers. Both men are Marco Island natives with a keen sense of the water and the wonderful creatures to be seen from high above the waters. We saw dolphins, rays and manatees.
MoreWe convinced ourselves to live on the edge, even though we are not comfortable with heights! Josh and RJ from The Sky's the Limit, that depart from the front of the Marriott Resort, were fabulous at making us feel confident that we would live to write this review! We watched as two other parties each took their turn flying very high above the boat tethered by a rope and supported by a happy face parachute. Then it was our turn! We got into position, our harnesses were secured to the bar below the parachute and off we went. Our departure from the boat was very gentle. It was a peaceful, serene, quiet 20 minute adventure over the blue and green waters of southern Marco Island. We could see the tops of the buildings along the shoreline, all of Marco Island and some of the Ten Thousand Islands. The absolute calm and quietness is indescribable. Return to the boat was smooth and gentle. We did this on our last full day on Marco Island. If we had more time, we would have done it again!
MoreI went on the 10,000 island excursion tour on the jet ski with tour guide, Rammel Batlle from the beach of my hotel and it was amazing! He made sure we were safe and also saw as much wildlife as we could as possible. And all the while doing all of that he took very nice pictures of the group too. We saw dolphins frolicking in the ocean, then to the islands to check out the mangroves and birds to go to the edge of the island to see the dome house that was built in the 80's and was succumbed to hurricane Andrew. On the way back we saw a natural made lagoon and to finish, more dolphins and finally manatees. It is a great experience. I suggest going to the earlier excursion to experience a similar time. Ask for Rammel Batlle and he will make sure you get the best experience for your money. And don't forget to tip him for all the effort he does to accommodate your experience to the fullest.
MoreMy son and granddaughter took a parasailing adventure with the smiley-faced, yellow parasailing parachutes a couple of weeks ago. The weather became Iffy during their trip, and the captain was concerned about the winds, so he lowered them to the boat, took them back to shore and asked if they could wait 15-30 minutes to see if the winds would die down. They did and the capatin had them reboard the boat and they had another complete trip which they loved. Liked the fact that this company is very concerned about safety. They weren't sailing another company had chutes up during the heavy wind gusts. Both my son and his daughter are looking foward to a return trip to Marco Island so they can parasail again with this company. Truly and enjoyable and exhiliarting experience.
