Once I became a Naples resident, I got my Naples Public library card. The library is extensive and you can order books online or stop in to pick up a book.

This is a beautiful Library, inside and out. We went there, specifically, to check out the donated books that were for sale. This Library is spacious enough to have a book sale room, rather than just a few shelves in the lobby with some for sale books. My review, then, is of this book sale facility. With that in mind, I'll rate the book sale room just average (***). The room is sizeable, but was not even 1/3 full of books (maybe a seasonal thing?). It seemed like the books were shelved randomly. Here's what needs to be done (accomplished by 2 or 3 Friends in a couple of hours): The fiction should be shelved alphabetically by author (with prominent signage). All the other books should be broken down into subjects/categories, with clearly marked signage, such as: biography, science, history, business, etc., etc. I belong to 3 Friends groups; I know what a Library book store should look like (look at Plantation, FL). I'm not a book seller; I'm a book reader. Again, this is a review of the book sale room, not the Library as a whole, which I'm sure is outstanding.

I could live in a library. This has it all, movies, CDs, even books and rooms to rent. Clean. parking. All they need is a good hot shower and I'm there!

This is my favorite library in Naples. It is neat and clean and has a good selection. The staff is always helpful and it's a pleasure to visit there.
