I had the pleasure to stay at Pelican Bay Hotel in Naples, Florida . The room was large, clean, plenty of extras and the service is excellent. The breakfast has many options including eggs to order. The only complaint I would have is the swimming pool. For a hotel with 200 rooms, it is totally inadequate . It is a shame , with a decent pool it would be a five star hotel.

Pelican Bay is a great place to visit but you need to know someone who lives in the community (resident member) in order to get access. There is easy access to the beach with the boardwalks and a golf cart shuttle that can take you there as it is close to 1.5 miles from the parking lot to the beach. Still at the beach there are two restaurants that Pelican Bay has and a lot of umbrellas on the beach but it is busy with the residents with their guests. Still hard to find a better place to go to the beach.

We walked this area every day of our stay and seen turtles, dolphins, bald eagles, ospreys and various other great birds and mammals. The sunset and sunrise are also spectacular, I wish i could walk this every day in life as it was mind blowing.

I love this place so much. That's my favorite spot for morning walking. The water is so calm and the environment so interesting and friendly. Nice spot to spend whole day with your friends or family. Highly recommended.

Played tennis at south courts with some friends that live in Pelican Bay. Courts were immaculate and the folks at the tennis desk were very nice ....., with the exception of some woman who suddenly appeared from a back room. She was obviously upset about something and nearly screamed at the offender in front of several people. Very unprofessional. The rest of our visit to the beach and restaurant was very nice. The grounds are very well kept and the service was very good. PB is a private community so guest entrance to all areas must be accompanied by a resident member.
