We used the aquatic/water/swimming centre which is great for families. Don’t be put off by the cheap entry fee! £9 for a family of five!! Loads of different types of pool in this open air facility: toddler/family/diving/slides/water flumes/lap pool, etc. All pools have life guards (who are great). There are restrooms and changing facilities/showers on site. My family will definatly be coming back!

Surprised to find such good birding during a casual stroll around the park. Anhingas were close enough to see their green eyes without binoculars. We also saw wood stork, great blue heron, little blue heron, great egret, snowy egret, tricolored heron, osprey, pileated woodpecker, and more.

This park has great community sports facilities, but also is a fantastic birding spot! Whether you are a general nature lover or a serious birder, the park has a ton of species to see and photograph. Start at the observation platform and then walk the bike path around the wetlands.

Very nice park for walking and birding. I did not see much evidence of damage from Hurricane Ian and fortunately there were many species of birds present. They offered multiple photo opportunities, and the lighting around the park, particularly around the lakes, is very good for photography.

3 of the 4 water spaces were closed due to lack of staff. Very disappointing. They should post a sign before you pay to go in.
