This is now called/renamed... The Bradenton Area Convention Center which was and is a perfect venue for the Florida Gun Shows recent show held early March. I believe they hold these gun shows a few times a year at this facility. Overall, The convention center was very spacious, well lit and clean, including the restrooms. Plenty of Free parking, even though there was construction going on at the time of my visit, it looks like they are expanding the convention center (?). Looking forward to attending another gun show there when i am in the Palmetto, Florida area. Overall Rating ~ Very Good.

PLANNER BEWARE: Lied about original contract charges and agreement. Changed entire experience once full payment was received. Barely spoke to event coordinator entire weekend. Anna Paul and Mitch Conner charged me twice for 2 different items on my contract. Wont be coming back to this location. The way you treat people should impact future business. Please think twice before booking your event here. Bradenton Area Convention Center is poorly run. Planned on booking this event center multiple years and now wont return again. Very deceptive management and not trustworthy.

The Bradenton Area Convention Center is a very big place. We went there for a week-long Bill Bailey Gospel Music Convention. The Center is actually located along the scenic Manatee River in Palmetto along Rte 41 (S. Tamiami Trail). There are several rooms and a large arena capable of holding very large gatherings.Other events at the Center in early 2019 include the Bradenton Home Show, Canadian Snowbird Association Winter Information Meeting, Regional Bridge Tournament, and Florida Gun Shows. When we were there, there was a room where a good continental breakfast was served, with a large room across the hall with tables for overflow and fellowship. The chapel service was in another large room and the concerts were held in the arena called the Gulf Islands Center Hall which seats up to 4000 people. The foyer is very large and can also be used for various purposes. This center is the perfect location for events such as seminars, banquets, trade shows, concerts, weddings, and sporting events. Manatee Convention Center was the locale for the Garden Brothers Circus on November 5 & 6, 2018. It has plenty of parking, it's clean, and has the ability to accommodate meetings and concerts as well. Its locale is right off U.S. 41 & Haben Blvd. making it easy to get to.I think they have changed the name to Bradenton Convention Center but whatever they call it, it's a great facility.

You can go to the Gun shows, buy Hot tubs, rare plants, car auctions or just about anything you need. oh my!
