tripadvisorThis hotel was in short terms disgusting, the rooms were gross walking barefoot there’s a bunch of dust and stuff on the floor it reminded me of my daughter’s college dorm. The microwave, room key and hairdryer didn’t work. Although it’s affordable I think anyone is better off going to the competing hotels vs this one. The parking lot had trash everywhere and goodwill shopping carts. The hotel is nothing like the pictures. The only good thing was the staff and the location but everything else was absolutely horrible.
MoreBooked this hotel last minute, wanted something reasonable. You get what you pay for applies here. Arrived late Friday afternoon migrant workers were getting home from work made me a little uncomfortable but went straight to my room. Positive things: the bed & pillows were comfortable, AC worked great, very good water pressure. This hotel is older a bit run down but I guess it worked. The room had a moldy smell. In hindsight should have spend the $50-60 more for a better hotel on the same street.
MoreThank god this was a very quick few hours of sleep because it's right next to the airport stay. Awful. The man at check-in was very nice. But the second I walked into the lobby it smelled musty. The elevator did not work. Luckily it's only 3 floors. Rooms wasn't very clean, along with the towels. There were 2 beds thank god because the 1st bed looked like it would collapse if you even sat on it. Sheets were stiff and scratchy. Lots of construction going on, hopefully fixing things. Paint on the floor. The lamp was rusty and old on the bottom. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. Shouldn't be $130. Should be more like $99. $130 is still super cheap for the area but it honestly shouldn't even be open. Lesson learned. If you say how bad could it be? It is.
MoreLocation, location, location. Right in front of airport entrance. I didn't expect much at this price point. Everything was good enough for 1 night stay. Enjoyed the quiet air-conditioner. Don't often (if ever), get that.
MoreWARNING — AVOID AT ALL COSTS!Honestly, this whole hotel feels like it needs to be torn down. My husband and I arrived at 1 AM, exhausted, and the moment we stepped into the lobby we were hit with an overwhelming smell of marijuana — this is supposed to be a no-smoking hotel! We were too tired to search for another place that late, so we stayed. Our room was 324, and as soon as we got upstairs the same marijuana smell was in the hallway. The elevator felt ancient and shaky. When we entered our room, there was condensation everywhere — on the windows, on the bed — and the floors were sticky. It turned out the window didn’t seal properly and was actually cracked open. The TV didn’t work correctly either; it was stuck on one channel (FX) and couldn’t be changed. Breakfast the next morning was pure slop: stale pastries, a waffle maker that was barely functioning, and nothing remotely appealing. The pictures online are absolutely misleading. This hotel is also about 10 minutes from I-75, so if you're looking for a quick, cheap stop late at night — don’t choose this place. Same goes for anyone flying into Sarasota airport. Waking up to the smell of marijuana at 8 AM was the final straw. The money you think you’re saving by staying here is absolutely not worth it.Avoid this hotel at all costs.Americans are tired of the H-1B visa scam, where Indians from India come here and destroy middle America with slop and trash while our government gives away our birth rights to people who don’t give a damn about our values or culture or the American way of life!
